Featuring more than sixty women from fishing communities in Massachusetts, Maine, and Rhode Island, the Women’s Work Exhibit amplifies the voices and experiences of women working in the commercial fishing industry.
Massachusetts Infrastructure Grant Opportunity
Fishermen, aquaculture, and seafood businesses can benefit from the Massachusetts Infrastructure Grant Opportunity when they apply to the Massachusetts Food Security Infrastructure Grant Program. Funds can be used to purchase equipment that makes their business and the local food system more resilient. This is a state-run, reimbursable grant program. The application deadline is November 7, 2021 and Fishing Partnership will send $150 to any fisherman who applies for the grant to offset the costs associated with applying.
