The Commercial Fishing Library donated by Provincetown fisherman Alex Brown is a special library collection located in Fishing Partnership’s Chatham office. This is the start of the development of a special collection of commercial fishing books, some of which date back to 1880.

Despite calm seas, secured hatches and little wind, the night watchman observed the boat suddenly taking on water in the pre-dawn hours.
