Fishing is a vital part of our local economy but it’s a risky and unpredictable business. Kids in fishing families often go without healthcare. And sadly, everyone in a fishing community knows of a fisherman who’s been lost at sea. Over the years, people have called us to say they’d like to do something to help the fishing community, but they don’t know how.
